[3rd Anniversary Hatcher] Part #4 - Light Monsters

Part 4 of the 3rd Anniversary Hatcher! This time is the Light Hatcher monsters!

Be sure to vote on this Blog on which Element I should roll on mine!

The 31 Possible Hatcher Monsters

The OPs

Royce dominates the Light monsters with his double Nulls and very powerful Bump Combos. He is your go-to Mine or Warp monster in the game. The game currently is more Warp and Mine focused, and Royce becomes the strongest Warp monster in the game and rivals the likes of Raff and d'Artagnyan in terms of Mines.

Godstriker is a Flight and NDW monster that can deal a lot of damage. He has both single target damage with his Counter Slayer+SS combo and multi target damage with his Bump Combos.

Arthur was one of the strongest monsters in the game when she was first released. However with the influx of Warps and Mines in the dungeons alongside a lot of Laser Barriers, she dropped fairly fast. Even so, she is a very powerful monster in dungeons for the past 2 years of Monster Strike content with her NGB+NDW and high damaging Lock-on Laser.

One Rank Under

Aladdin just misses the podium due to his SS. It is strong due to the fact that you can use it every 8 turns but it is not going to destroy Bosses with it. However his Bump Combos gives him a lot of value, especially with his Bomb being able to proc other Bump Combos.

Miyamoto Muasahi is recent addition to the game and it is a very strong monster due to his Dark Slayer. With his Explosion SS and Dark Slayer combined, bosses just flop over dead. Tempest players rejoice since Evo Tempest does just as much as Asc Musashi does!

Last up is the new Transcension from Ra. There is a lot of viability with her Water Slayer and her Bump Combo makes it very easy to mob clear. Just like Doji, you will want multiple Ra to deal optimal damage.

Upping Your Box

The top of Light monsters can basically clear most of the content because most of them have double Nulls. However, Liu Bei can help your Box Versatility even more since he is a NGB+NW, a combination the top Light monsters don't have. Plus he is very helpful in the first set of Impossibles and most recently in War God Nirvana.

Kamui is more of a maniac pick for some players. Kamui started to pick up some steam with the recent influx of Warps in Impossibles. Even if Asc Kami doesn't pick up popularity down the road, you can go to the Evo form for another NGB+NW monster.

The Niche Picks

Succubus is a very nice niche pick for Temple farmers. A lot of high-end Temple farmers will farm Light Temple since it is the fastest. Also her SS is short and can one shot the Gold Berry Gnome (Wakurin) with her knock up.

Sanzhang Fashi mainly has one use in the 24F in the Tower. She gets the nod here because the other Status Recovery monsters are hard to get in Micha and Alice. Also Trans Hamelin is not that popular and probably not worth the Dragon Gems if the players don't have an abundance.

The Potential

With Uri's recent Transcension, the potential for her is endless. Both forms are extremely powerful especially with the Hell Transcension's unique ATK Up Bump Combo. For more information, check the latest Monster Strike News!

Although Lyra is a very strong monster due to her utility SS and strong Bump Combo, I put her here because there is a potential of an Ascension. She only has an Evolved form so an Ascension might be added later on. With how strong Evo is already, people can expect Asc to be just as strong, if it ever comes.

Overall Conclusion

The top Light monsters basically covers all the hazards in the game. Also all the OPs rival the top monsters in the whole game for that specific hazard. A lot of players will pull Light mainly because they have the least amount of Hatcher monsters in 31. This means there is a higher chance of getting a specific monster if the rates are all the same between them.
