[3rd Anniversary Hatcher] Part #5 - Dark Monsters

The big finale, Dark Monsters!

Technically the Hatcher is up right now but I'll let you guys vote for another day-ish and roll on Saturday!

The 39 Possible Hatcher Monsters

The OPs

It goes without saying that Lucy is still OP in the game. She dropped a little bit due to their Energy Circle being hard to position but she still does amazing damage in this meta. Her SS is still probably the best type in the game and she can nullify damage with her unique Barrier ability

Loki's Transcension made waves because of his Blast type Lock-on Laser. That is a 34k Laser in the Boss's face. He does only have one Null but his Bump Combo make him viable in pretty much anywhere that doesn't have Laser Barriers.

Alice is strong because she fills the role of both damage and support. She heals your team with her Recovery and has a lot of damage with her double Homing Bump Combos.

One Rank Under

Mundus never really left the tier list, even in his Ascended form. With his Transcension, he does more damage with his double Homing Bump Combo and shorter 3 Turn Delay SS.

Aegis is a new Light Slayer. He is very strong since his Light Slayer is in his base ability which proc his Energy Circle. He also became popular for being a viable monster in Eden and Izanagi Zero.

Daji rounds out this tier because she is the strongest Mine Sweeper the Dark pool has. If you have the likes of Royce, you can go for the Asc version and get an Eden monster.

Upping Your Box

Jekyll and Hyde is a Null Magic Circle monster in both forms. Both are very good for hard Tower floors like 31F, 33F and 35F. Even if you have monsters for those dungeons, they also do high Bump Combo damage and have a Command SS.

Belstar is another favored Power monster. Like his Wood counterpart Mammon, they have the same SS. Belstar just has more damage in his Bump Combo whereas Mammon has the extra Null ability.

Saigo is still a powerful Light Slayer due to his SS. He makes the 35F a piece of cake and you can take him to a lot of Light dungeons in general.

The Niche Picks

Yagyu Jubei is a great Null Gravity Barrier monster in general but he is mainly relegated to Tower floors. His Fiend Slayer and Paladin Slayer is great for the 30F since he slays Bishamonten, Daikoku and Babel himself. He can also be brought to the 35F and 40F as well.

Sasuke recently got a boost in popularity due to Eden. His short CD on his SS can deal massive damage to Eden and can be used 2 or 3 times in the dungeon.

Oda Nobunaga is mainly for the 23F of the Tower with her Deity Slayer M. Her Bump Combos also proc her Slayers so she can do efficient mob clear.

The Potential

There are not a lot of future potential in the Dark pool. Lucifer will be getting a Transcension soon so there is some hope for him. If he gets the "combine Evo and Asc" treatment, he will be a beast since he will have double Slayers and a Null. With one being Deity Slayer, he will be super viable in Impossibles.

Overall Conclusion

Just like the Wood Hatcher, Dark Hatcher monsters have the most in their pool so it might be hard to get a specific monster. Some players might want to roll in this hatcher because of Eden since he is one of the hardest dungeons in the game. Plus he is a very strong drop monster.
